Soccer News and Updates

The WSRSA Recreational Program is designed for players who want to discover and explore the game of soccer. This program provides an opportunity for all levels of players who want to play organized soccer in a fun and safe environment. The WSRSA Rec Program participates  in the Northeast Iowa Soccer League.  The program encompasses players/teams from several communities in Northeast Iowa.  Playing in the WSRSA Recreational Program helps build a love for the game and teaches soccer basics to players 1st through 8th grade.  All registrants are placed on teams through random distribution, rather than being placed based on ability or commitment. Teams are coached by parent volunteers and they typically play six games per season (Fall and Spring), all in the Northeast Iowa area, and many also choose participate in other rec  events in the area.
